Stock Status

The stock status for any item can be found just above the item price on the item page, as well as to the left of the item price during an item search.

Please be aware that stock status is based on the warehouse of your detected region. If you are using a VPN or similar location-altering program, you may see different stock values.

There are three different types of Stock Status that may be displayed.

  1. In Stock items typically have 10 or more units available, ready to ship from your regional warehouse. Orders placed for such items typically dispatch within 1 working day through your chosen delivery method.

  2. Access Instantly items refer to our available selection of Digital-only titles, which are available for download as soon as they have been purchased. Digital Print titles are available instantly on your computer for viewing and printing.

  3. For more information about purchasing our Digital Items, Read more here → How to Purchase Digital Downloads | Musicroom Help Centre

  4. Special Order items are currently out of stock with your regional warehouse, but the items can still be ordered through us and will typically be sent to you within the estimated lead time shown underneath the Special Order text.

Understanding Special Order Items

These items are typically products that are either held in a different regional warehouse, or need to be ordered directly by us from a publisher or supplier. The lead time shown on individual items can vary depending on where the item will need to be sent from, as well as possible publishing or transport delays, and can range from a few days to several weeks.

We will always provide the best estimate of the lead time on our website, but it is possible that your Special Order item may arrive earlier or later than the estimate provided depending on circumstances such as transit time, and time spent at border customs when importing goods.

If an item on your order has gone over its estimated lead time, you can contact our Support Team to investigate this further for you and provide an update.

Expedited Shipping and Special Order Items

Expedited shipping speeds up delivery from our warehouse to you, but does not reduce the time it takes for products to arrive from publishers. Example: For example, if an item has an estimated 28 Working Day lead time, you’ll need to wait for it to reach our warehouse before we can ship it through Expedited Delivery methods to you.

We are unable to rush product from publishers to our warehouse upon request.

Unexpected Changes to Availability

If an item is discontinued after your order is placed, you’ll receive an automated email notifying you of its cancellation. If only part of your order is affected, the remaining items will ship as they become available. You’ll be refunded for canceled items.

Temporarily unavailable items will be delayed, while unavailable items are automatically canceled.

The following are the most common reasons for changes in availability:

Item Delayed Due to Supplier Out-Of-Stock:
An item may be delayed if the supplier is temporarily out of stock due to high demand or if the item is temporarily discontinued. You can cancel your order anytime before receiving the shipping notification by contacting our support team with your order number and the item(s) you wish to cancel.

Item Cancelled Due to Supplier Out-Of-Stock:
The item has been canceled due to uncertain availability from the supplier, who cannot provide a reliable restock date. You may try reordering in 6-8 weeks, though availability is not guaranteed.

Item Cancelled Due to Discontinuation:
The item has been discontinued and is no longer available. Items may be discontinued due to factors like low demand or copyright issues. We remove discontinued items from our catalog as soon as we are informed by their publishers.
